Thank you, Hideout.

I want to say thank you to my supporters—and the entire Hideout community—for your participation in our elections. Through your passionate engagement on key issues, you’ve pushed all of Hideout’s leaders to think bigger, smarter and more strategically about our town’s future. Yes, this is democracy at work. I’m so proud to have been a part of it.

I’m especially grateful for the people who contributed “hustle & heart” to my campaign. It’s been clear from the beginning that this was more than an election for you. It was a calling to ensure the brightest possible future for Hideout, and all of us are lucky to call you neighbors and friends.

​

As a new chapter begins for Hideout, remember that each of us has a part to play. It’s not just the elected leaders, or the regulations, initiatives and policies, that make a town. It’s people who are ready to work together to make a difference.

​

So stay plugged in. Attend a council meeting, volunteer, pay attention to issues facing our community, and make your voice heard.  That’s certainly what I will continue to do, just as I’ve done since moving to Hideout 10 years ago.

It’s my hope that as we continue to grow, Hideout will become even more connected, neighbor to neighbor, with a shared vision for our future. I hope that's your dream, too, and that you'll work toward that goal every day.
